“Post It” Button
Our “Post It” Button provides a lightning-fast way to share images or video from any website and post it to BoardQuivers.com without ever leaving the page.
Installing our “Post It” button
← Drag Button To Your Bookmark Bar
To install the “Post It” button in Chrome:
1. Display your Bookmarks by clicking the Wrench Icon > Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar.
2. Drag the “Post It” button to your Bookmarks bar.
3. When you are browsing the web, push the “Post It” button to pin an image or video.
To install the “Post It” button in Firefox:
1. Display your Bookmarks Bar by clicking View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar.
2. Drag the “Pin It” button to your Bookmarks Toolbar.
3. When you are browsing the web, push the “Post It” button to pin an image or video.
To install the “Post It” button in Internet Explorer:
1. Display your Favorites Bar by clicking Tools > Toolbars > Favorites Bar.
2. Right-click the “Post It” button and select “Add to Favorites”.
3. On the pop-up window, select “Create in: Favorites Bar”.
4. When you are browsing the web, push the “Pin It” button to pin an image.
That’s it – you’ve installed our “Post It” button!
Using our “Post It” button
Let’s say you come across a great pic of a hot surf spot, or a nice surfboard quiver, and you want to share it on our site.
Simply highlight the text you want to grab with your cursor (not required, usually the description of the quiver), then click the “Post It” button bookmarklet in your browser bookmark bar. A pop-up post-it window will then appear.
The title will be filled in with the site’s title, change this to something more descriptive.
To add images, click the picture frame icon below the title of the post and select the pic you want to share and click “insert image”. You can also add your own comments or description if you like.
When you’re done, click “Publish this Image” on the top right. You’re done!
